NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BID Notice is hereby given that the City of Gautier, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids at City Hall, City of Gautier, 3330 Highway 90, Gautier, Mississippi 39553 until 10:00 A.M. on August 27th, 2026, and bids will be opened at 11:00 A.M on August 27th, 2026, at City Hall, for the following: CITY OF GAUTIERHICKORY HILLS / MARTIN BLUFF SEWER IMPROVEMENTS These bids are invited to upsize the existing gravity sewer on Martin Bluff Road, install a new sewer force main trunk line on Ferry Point Road, install residential grinder pumps and service laterals at four (4) residences on Ferry Point Road, and decommission the existing septic tanks serving those residences, all in Gautier, Mississippi. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 13th, 2026, at the office of Seymour Engineering, 925 Tommy Munro Drive, Suite G, Biloxi, Mississippi. Pre-Bid Meeting is NOT mandatory but suggested that all prospective bidders attend this meeting. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The City of Gautier, Mississippi, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work must comply with Section 31 3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The Contractor's classification shall include the ability to perform Municipal and Public Works projects. Bid documents are being made available via paper copy or digital copy.
