SUMMONS BY PUBLICATION IN THE CHANCERY COURT OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT JAMES S. JONES PLAINTIFF VERSUS CAUSE NO. 24CH1:26-cv-01226-CB JOSH CRAWFORD; AND ANY AND ALL PERSONS CLAIMING ANY INTEREST IN AND TO THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: DEFENDANTS For a point of beginning commence at the point where the south line of the Southwest One Quarter of the Northwest One Quarter of Section 6, Township 6 South, Range 11 West, intersects the east right-of-way line of the Illinois Central Railroad (Old G & SI RR) and thence run Easterly along the south line of said Southwest One Quarter of the Northwest One Quarter of said Section Township and Range, a distance of 599.74 feet to a point on the west right-of-way line of Old Highway 49, thence run South along the said west right-of -way line of Old Highway 49 a distance of 143.00 feet to a point; thence run Westerly and parallel with aforesaid south line of the Southwest One Quarter of the Northwest One Quarter a distance of 622.38 feet to the east right-of-way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad; thence run N-09̊ of -00' -E along the east right-of-way of said railroad a distance 144.78 feet back to the point of beginning. The above described property contains 2.00 acres more or less and being a part of those lots, streets and alley ways in Lienhard Addition to Saucier and The Town of Saucier now vacated. *This property consists of all or portions of the following property: Lots 1, 2, 11 &12, Block 3 and Lots 1. & 12, Block 2, Original Saucier Subdivision and Lots 5 & 6, Block 11, and Lots 5 & 6, Block 12, Leinhard Addition to the Original Saucier Subdivision as well as portions of platted streets and alleys of said Subdivisions vacated. This conveyance is subject to all restrictions, easements and reservations affecting said property of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Harrison County Mississippi. (SUMMONS BY PUBLICATION) THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO: ANY AND ALL PERSONS CLAIMING ANY INTEREST IN AND TO THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY THE COMPLAINT WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THIS SUMMONS IS IMPORTANT AND YOU MUST TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO PRESERVE YOUR RIGHTS. You have been made a Defendant in the suit filed in this Court by Plaintiff, James S. Jones, seeking to remove cloud on title, to quiet and confirm title, or in the alternative, to confirm title by adverse possession. Defendants other than you in this action are: Josh Crawford. You are required to mail or hand deliver a written response to the Complaint filed against you in this action to David A. Wheeler, Attorney for Plaintiff, whose post office address is P.O. Box 264, Biloxi, MS 39533. YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED NOT LATER THAN THIRTY DAYS AFTER THE 24th DAY OF JUNE, 2026, WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR DELIVERED, A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE MONEY OR OTHER RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT.
