CITY OF PASCAGOULA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING, AVAILABILITY OF PUBLIC REVIEW DRAFT AND 30-DAY COMMENT PERIOD 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN Notice is hereby given that the City of Pascagoula will conduct a second public hearing to offer residents an opportunity to provide input regarding development of the 2026 CDBG Action Plan, a component of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. The 2026 Action Plan will contain information concerning proposed projects and funding allocations for the use of the City's 2026 CDBG Entitlement Program resources. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated $257,285 in CDBG funds for the City of Pascagoula's 2026 Program Year. 1. The public hearing will take place at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Pascagoula Senior Center, located at 1912 Live Oak Avenue in downtown, as City Hall is undergoing renovations. The Senior Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. 2. A draft of the 2026 CDBG Action Plan will be made available for public review and comment from June 25 through July 27, 2026 and may be accessed on the Community Development Department page of the city website at www.cityofpascagoula.com and at the following locations: · Temporary Offices of Pascagoula City Hall - 535 Delmas Avenue · Pascagoula Public Library - 3214 Pascagoula Street All interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing including public service agencies, nonprofit organizations, interested residents, those of low income, minorities, residents of public housing and those with disabilities.
