This is a suit by Philip E. Mayes to void tax sale, remove cloud on title and for other relief as to that certain property legally described as:

PHILIP E. MAYES was the owner of the subject property in this matter one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the end of the redemption period and entitled to notice of forfeiture pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. §27-43-1. He did not receive proper statutory notice thereby making the applicable tax sale void ab initio and the Chancery Clerk had no authority to grant a Chancery Clerk's Conveyance to WOODMARK INVESTMENTS.
If you have a legal or equitable claim or interest in this real property and/or any personal property contained therein, you are required to mail or hand-deliver a copy of your response to the Complaint to Quiet and Confirm Title and For Other Relief to the attorney for Plaintiff, Negrotto & Associates, PLLC, c/o Lewie G. "Skip" Negrotto, IV, the attorney for Plaintiff, whose post office address is 300 Davis Avenue, Ste. 101-A, Pass Christian, MS 39571. YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED WITHIN THIRTY DAYS FROM THE 27th day of May 2026 WHICH IS THE DATE OF FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR DELIVERED, A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT.
You must also file the original of your Response with the Chancery Clerk of Jackson County, Mississippi within a reasonable time afterward at 3104 Magnolia Street, Pascagoula, MS 39567-4127.
