NOTICE OF FILING OF BUDGET AND REQUEST FOR LEVY By Board of Trustees of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College has certified its budget for the ensuing fiscal year to the Boards of Supervisors of Harrison, Jackson, George and Stone Counties and, in accordance with Section 27-39-320 and Section 37-29-437 of the Mississippi Code Annotated 1972 as amended, and has requested the levy of ad valorem taxes in each of said counties for general obligation and maintenance of the College and for capital outlay defined in the statute. Notice is hereby given that the levy requested will be made in each of the counties named unless a petition signed by 20% of the qualified electors in the district shall be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the said College within 30 days from the date of the first publication of this notice protesting against said levy and demanding an election thereon. Such protests can be mailed to the President, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Perkinston, Mississippi.
