HEARING NOTICE PASCAGOULA PLANNING BOARD Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Board of the City of Pascagoula on Wednesday June 10, at 6:00 P.M., at the Pascagoula Senior Center at 1912 Live Oak Avenue, Pascagoula, Mississippi, to hear the application of: Omar Soto For: Requesting a Special Use Permit to operate (i) auto repair and servicing (without painting or bodywork); (ii) transmission shop; and (iii) auto sales or rental. At: 4029 14th Street The property is zoned Community Commercial (CC) and located in the City of Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi, and is more particularly described as follows to wit: Parcel II: A tract of Land Situated in Claim Section 1, Township 8 South, Range 6 West, Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi, and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the center of the Mississippi Export Railroad and the south margin of highway 613, as now laid out, Thence north 58 degrees 11 minutes 52 seconds east along the south margin of highway 613 404.81 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right: Thence northeasterly along said curve and the south margin of highway 613 an arc distance of 253.22 feet, said curve having a Delta angel of 1 degrees 54 minutes 33 seconds and a radius of 7599.44 feet; Thence north 60 degrees 06 minutes 25 seconds east along the south margin of highway 613 77.33 feet to the east margin of 14th Street and the point of beginning; Thence south 10 degrees 40 minutes east along the east margin of 14th street 162.96 feet to the northwest corner of the Hysell property described in Deed Book 197, Page 496; Thence north 75 degrees 32 minutes 02 seconds east along the north line of said property 100.00 feet to the southwest corner of that property described in will book 7, Page 280; Thence north 10 degrees 40 minutes west along the west line of said property 191.59 feet to a point on a curve on the south margin of highway 613; Thence southwesterly along a said curve to the right an arc distance of 63.67 feet; Thence south 60 degrees 06 minutes 25 seconds west along the south margin of highway 613 42.16 feet to the point of beginning, and being the same property described in deed book 961. Page 774. Interested parties may appear at the hearing and speak and submit evidence and written comments on the application. Written comments may be submitted before the hearing, and additional information may be obtained about the application or review process, at the Planning & Building office at 4015 14th Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. At the close of the above hearing, the Planning Board will make a recommendation to the City Council of the City of Pascagoula as to what action should be taken on the above application. The City Council, after receiving the recommendation of the Planning Board and providing an opportunity for new information to be presented, will make the final decision on the application at its public hearing on Tuesday, June 16, at 6:00 p.m., to which you are invited to attend and participate. The City Council public hearing will also be held at the Pascagoula Senior Center at 1912 Live Oak Avenue, Pascagoula, Mississippi.
