NOTICE OF BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF GULFPORT The City of Gulfport is required by state statute to publish notice of a budget amendment that exceeds ten percent of a department's originally adopted budget. On April 7, 2026 the Gulfport City Council unanimously adopted a budget amendment to increase the Police Department's Capital Outlay item in the amount of $22,935.00. This budget amendment was needed to transfer proceeds from the sale of assets during FY26, attained through Federal and State Seizure Awards.
