CITY OF GULFPORT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES The City of Gulfport announces the availability of funds for the following program under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) as outlined in the approved 2017-2024 Substantial Amendment and the 2025 Annual Action Plan for the following activities: Public Services – CDBG $731,416.51 (PY19-PY25) Beginning April 15, 2026, Request for Applications will be made available on the City's website www.gulfport-ms.gov. Printed copies can be made available upon request. Applications will be accepted from April 21, 2026, to May 14, 2026, at 4 PM. Please note that applications will only be accepted as long as budgeted funds for these programs are available. A Technical Assistance Workshop is scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd at 11 AM, which is being offered virtually. Attendance is not required. City staff will review the availability of funds for the program and be available to answer questions on the application and application process.
