REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Area Agency on Aging of the Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District is issuing a Request for Proposals for fiscal year 2027 for the following services: Congregate Meals, Senior Center, and Transportation. The Area Agency on Aging serves the counties of Covington, Forrest, George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Stone and Wayne. Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965 as amended and the Social Services Block Grant authorize the Area Agency on Aging to provide an array of services to Mississippians age 60 years and above. On April 13, 2026, Requests for Proposals will be available on our website www.smpdd.com. Notices of Intent to Submit a Proposal must be received no later than April 24, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. Proposals must be received no later than May 11, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. at 10441 Corporate Drive Suite 1, Gulfport, MS 39503.
