You have been made a defendant in the Petition to Determine Heirs filed in this Court by Linda Sims Clay,
Petitioner and Administratrix for the Estate of James Albert Clay,
Deceased, in which the Petitioner seeks to determine the heirs at law of James Albert Clay, deceased and asserts that Branton Thomas,
Brittney Thomas, Jaime L. Clay, James A. Clay, III, James Christopher
Johnson, Lashanda Washington,
Lydia L. Clay, Lynden Watson Clay, Melvin Mason-Clay, and Linda Sims Clay are the only heirs at law of James Albert Clay, deceased.
You are summoned to appear and defend against said petition at 9:00 a.m. on April 14, 2026 in the courtroom of Chancellor Mark A. Maples in the Jackson County Chancery Courthouse at Pascagoula, Mississippi, and in the case of your failure to appear and defend a judgment will be entered against you for the money or other things
demanded in the petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading, but you may do so if you desire. If you desire to file an answer, you must mail or hand
deliver a written response to the
petition in this action to Shon Ellerby, attorney for Petitioner and
Administratrix, whose mailing and physical address is Ellerby Law, LLC, 712 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, MS 39567; and you must also file the original of your response with the Clerk of this Court.
