PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION UNDER THE COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT ACT Harrison County Board of Supervisors has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state's approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. The applicant is proposing to impact 0.117 acres or less of non-tidal wetlands by increasing the number of culvert crossings from 25 to 32 and placing rip rap around culverts on Bell's Ferry Road in Pass Christian, Harrison County, MS. Other associated roadway improvements, all occurring within the existing roadway footprint, include roadway repaving, guardrail installation and repair, and relocation of utilities as needed to support the upgraded infrastructure.
