PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION UNDER THE COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT ACT The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state's approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. The applicant proposes to deepen, widen, and realign the Gulfport Harbor's navigation channel, running through the Mississippi Sound to the Gulf of America, by dredging 33,115,000 cubic yards.
