Public Notice of Application for Consistency Determination Under the Coastal Zone Management Act City of Diamondhead has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state's approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. The applicant is proposing to impact 5,440 square feet of non-tidal wetlands for the construction of amenities such as a kayak launch, walking bridge, boardwalk, parking area, and other associated impacts adjacent to Montjoy Creek and Banyan Place in Diamondhead, Hancock County, MS.
