SR 542 MP 24.49 Remove Fish Barrier – Trib to High Creek The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit. The proposed project, SR 542 Remove Fish Barrier – Trib to High Creek, is located at the crossing of UNT to High Creek under SR 542 at MP 24.49 in Deming in Whatcom County. This project involves 1.15 acres of soil disturbance for fish passage improvement construction activities. The receiving waters are UNT to High Creek and High Creek. Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this Application, or interested in Ecology's action on this Application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice.
