PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATERS
TAKE NOTICE:
That Seattle City Light of Seattle, Washington on March 3, 2026, under Water Right Application No. S1-29668, filed for a permit to appropriate public surface water, subject to existing rights, from the Skagit River – Diablo Reservoir for year-round use in the amount of 1,200 cubic feet per second (cfs) for Non-Consumptive Power Generation.
The source of the proposed appropriation is located within the SE quarter of Section 5, Township 37N, Range 13E, W.M., within Whatcom County. The proposed place of use is located within the South half of Section 5, Township 37N, Range 13E, W.M., within Whatcom County.

Protests to this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for the objections. Protests must be accompanied with a fifty dollar ($50.00) non-refundable recording fee.
