WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A MAJOR VARIANCE Notice is hereby given that on 6/3/2026, Christopher MacGregor & Paulette le Roux-MacGregor applied for a Major Variance under case number VAR-MAJ2026-00004 to construct a single-family residence with an uncovered deck and driveway using the Major Variance for critical areas process pursuant to WCC 22.05.024 and WCC 16.16.273. A total of approximately 1,620 square feet of new impervious surface is proposed. The project requires a major variance due to unavoidable impacts to wetland buffers per WCC Title 16.
