WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND INTENT TO ADOPT A SEPA MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE Notice is hereby given that on April 20, 2026, Whatcom PUD #1 applied for a Conditional Use Permit under case number CUP2026-00008 to authorize the future construction of a 20,000 square foot warehouse. The application was determined complete on May 8, 2026. The project site is located at 1705 Trigg Rd., within Section 09, Township 39 North, Range 2 East of W.M.; Assessor's Parcel No: 390209115066. The project will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning Ordinance and Title 24, Title 22, Title 21, Title 20, Title 17, Title 16, International Building Code (IBC), Title 12, Whatcom County Development Standards, and the Washington State Stormwater Manual. Mitigation may be required pursuant to these ordinances. Whatcom County Planning and Development Services has adopted a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance that was issued by PUD #1 per WAC 197-11-340. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination for the specific proposal may be obtained upon request.
