NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A SHORELINE SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given that on May 4, 2026, Chloe Tochilin with SoundEarth Strategies, Inc. applied for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit under case number SHR2026-00007 to decommission and remove two 1,000-gallon underground storage tanks and associated pump island and canopy, as well as to install three groundwater monitoring wells. The application was determined complete on May 18, 2026, indicating that all submittal requirements were met. The subject property is located at 3250 South Bay Dr, within Section 29, Township 37N, Range 04E of W.M. Assessor's parcel number(s): 3704295364790000. The application will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning and Critical Areas Ordinances, as well as reviews by Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (Fire Marshal's Office, Natural Resources and Planning), Public Works Engineering and Health Department.
