Notice is hereby given that the Blaine City Council will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) 2027-2032 on Monday, June 08, 2026, at 6:00pm. The agenda can be found on the City's website on the Friday prior to the meeting. Projects being considered for inclusion in this proposed program* are as follows:
Bell Road-BNSF Grade Separation Project*
Yew Avenue Restoration Project*
ADA Transition Plan Development
Peace Portal Community Trail
Phase 3*
D Street Improvements
City-Wide Pavement Preservation* (annual program informed by
Pavement Condition Index study)
City-wide traffic and Pedestrian
Safety Improvements* (annual program)
*Represents projects with full or partial funding.
All interested citizens are encouraged to appear and be heard or submit written comments regarding this proposal. Written comments should be sent to CityCouncil@cityofblaine.com. Written communication must be received by 3:30pm on June 8, 2026, for it to be included in the record. Blaine City Hall is an accessible facility. Anyone wishing to attend and participate who may need special accommodation to do so should contact the City Clerk's office no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled hearing.
