WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A MINOR VARIANCE Notice is hereby given that on March 30th 2026, DJ Williamson applied for a minor variance under case number VAR-MIN2026-00003 to reduce a front setback from 45' to 40.5' for the construction of a single-family residence. The application was determined complete on April 28th, 2026, indicating that all submittal requirements were met. The subject property is located at 697 Rainbow Dr Sedro Woolley, WA, within Section 29, Township T37N, Range R04E of W.M. Assessor's parcel number(s): 3704292833060000. The application will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning and Critical Areas Ordinances, as well as reviews by Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (Fire Marshal's Office, Natural Resources and Planning), Public Works Engineering and Health Department.
