Notice of Intent Amrize West Central Inc., David Moors, 3463 Cedarville Rd Bellingham, WA 98226, is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Sand and Gravel General Permit. The Facility, known as Clauson Quarry, is located at 8899 Silver Lake Rd in Maple Falls, in Whatcom County. Activities at the facility will include Crushed and Broken Limestone and Quarry activities and are due to start up on 3/16/2026. This facility will discharge stormwater to groundwater. Ecology developed the Sand and Gravel General Permit with the expectations that sites covered under this permit will meet water quality standards including antidegradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.
