BELLINGHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Pursuant to RCW 39.80.030, the Bellingham School District (the "District") anticipates future projects may require the services of registered architects and engineers and/or other professional service providers as defined by RCW 39.80.020. The possible professional services sought may include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: Acoustical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Constructability Review, Building Commissioning, Civil Engineering, Cost Estimating, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, HAZMAT (RBM) Assessment, Indoor Air Quality Consulting, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Low Voltage Electrical Engineering (Alarm and Control Systems), Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surveying, Telecommunications Engineering (Voice, Video and Data), Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, Value Engineering, and other construction related services not subject to RCW 39.04.350. The District requests that interested parties respond with a brief electronic statement of qualifications ("SOQ") in pdf form with file size limited to 10mb or less. Please provide firm name and address, recent project experience, brief resumes of principal employees and other information that you feel would assist the District in its evaluation and selection of professional service providers for future projects*. We look forward to reviewing SOQs from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color-owned businesses, women, veteran, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, and businesses owned by or focused on accessibility advocacy. All firms who currently have SOQs on file with the District are encouraged to update their information as this information is used by the District to evaluate and select professional service providers. There is no deadline for submissions. Electronic submissions are required. Physical copies will not be accepted.
