BID PROPOSAL CITY OF FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS SALT DOME ROOF REPLACEMENT INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS: The City of Fairview Heights, Illinois is accepting bids to provide all labor, equipment and material necessary to provide the City with removal, replacement and associated work for the installation of a new roof on the salt dome located at the City Garage. All bids shall be placed on the form provided, and returned in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder, and marked "FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS SALT DOME ROOF REPLACEMENT" on the front, addressed to the Public Works Committee, c/o City Clerk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Any sealed envelope not marked as designated above will not be accepted as a bid. All bids must be received prior to 2:00 p.m., September 8, and will be opened at that time. Beginning on Tuesday, August 18, bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the City Clerk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208 or electronically by contacting the Public Works Department at 618-489-2020. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is schedule for August 25, 10:00 a.m., at the City Garage, 440 Wilcox Avenue, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Bidders are required to attend the pre-bid meeting and visit the project site. This project is a "prevailing wage" project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure.
