NOTICE TO BIDDERS The St. Clair Township, St. Clair, County, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Centennial Park Improvements until 10:00 a.m. on August 12th, 2026 at the St. Clair Township office, Belleville, Illinois. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on August 12th, 2026. The sealed bids must be delivered to St. Clair Township, during regular business hours, prior to the stated bid opening time. The Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are on file at Gonzalez Companies Office at 525 West Main Street, Belleville, IL 62220. Please contact Jake Stone at jstone@gocos.net. There will be no charge for emailed plans and specifications, but a $100 non-refundable fee will be charged for paper copies of the bidding documents. This project involves construction of an hot-mix asphalt parking lot, a 10-foot-wide hot mix asphalt walking trail, a concrete apron, an infiltration trench with French drain and all other work required to construct the improvements to Centennial Park in St. Clair Township near Belleville Illinois. Additionally, a trail kiosk and picnic pavilion will be installed at the park. All Bidders shall be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation for the classification of work involved in this project. A Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois shall be presented upon request prior to bidding or award of the contract as determined by the Township.
