INVITATION TO BID The City of Belleville will be accepting sealed bids for the replacement of deficient sanitary sewer laterals on private and/or public property in the City of Belleville. Sealed bids must be marked "2026-2027 Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repair Program" and submitted to the City Clerk's Office, City of Belleville, 101 South Illinois Street, Belleville, Illinois, by 10:00am, Thursday, July 16, 2026, after which, at 10:00am bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The bid package may be obtained from the Belleville City Clerk, 101 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL 62220, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or online at https://www.belleville.net/bids.aspx The City of Belleville reserves the right to waive any informality or technicality and to reject any or all bids. All work must be done in accordance with all City of Belleville Ordinances. Bidders will be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et seq.), and Public Act 96-1064 - Business Enterprise Program Per City of Belleville Ordinance, the successful bidder will be required to execute a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council for this project.
