Request for Public Comment/Notice of Public Meeting
East-West Gateway Council of Governments (EWG) is inviting public review and comment on the draft of its updated FY 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Bi-state area residents will have the opportunity to engage with this important regional planning document by attending four in-person meetings. The draft TIP includes detailed maps, project statuses, and funding information. The TIP outlines planned or active state and federal transportation projects throughout the region over the next four years. These projects, including roads, bridges, transit, and supporting infrastructure, are aligned with the region's Long-Range Transportation Plan, also produced by EWG.
The public comment period begins Wednesday, 7/1/26, and ends Friday, 7/31/26. The draft TIP will also be posted online for comment at www.ewgateway.org on 7/1/26. Residents are encouraged to review the TIP and provide feedback online through EWG's interactive eTIP database at ewgateway.ecointeractive.com. Comment forms may also be submitted in writing or digitally at scheduled in-person meetings. Comments can further be submitted by email to TIP@ewgateway.org or by mail to East-West Gateway Council of Governments, Attn: TIP, 1 S. Memorial Drive, Ste. 1600, St. Louis, MO 63102. Public input is a vital part of the regional planning process, helping ensure that transportation investments reflect the needs and priorities of local communities. Throughout the comment period, EWG staff will answer questions on the document. Comments or questions must be received or postmarked by midnight, Friday, 7/31/26.
