NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR ST. CLAIR COUNTY'S PY 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN The St. Clair County Intergovernmental Grants Department-Community Development Group will hold round two of Public Hearings for the Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan. We are seeking citizens' review and comment on the proposed Plans on the following community development needs: Housing, Economic Development, Public Facilities, Demolition and Public Services. The St. Clair County Annual Action Plan is a 1-year strategy which will be prepared and submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This strategy will address the needs of the extremely low, very low and low/moderate income persons in St. Clair County (excluding Collinsville, Madison, and Scott Air Force Base). The overall goals of the Annual Action Plan are: to strengthen partnerships among all levels of government and the private sector, including for profit and non-profit organizations, to enable them to provide decent housing, establish and maintain suitable living environments, and expand economic opportunities, particularly for very low income and low income persons. The proposed plan will be available, and St. Clair County will hold public hearings to receive public comment on the projects recommended for funding under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME investment partnerships program (HOME).
