NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of Cahokia CUSD 187 is accepting sealed bids for professional moving services associated with the transition from the existing Cahokia High School to the new Cahokia High School facility. The selected firm shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, coordination, insurance, bonding, and services necessary to safely and efficiently relocate designated heavy, specialized, and technical equipment in accordance with the District's Request for Bids and associated Bid Package. Bid Packages will be available starting on April 13, 2026, for pickup at the Superintendent's Office located at 1700 Jerome Lane, Cahokia Heights, IL 62206, or by calling the District's Administrative Secretary, Ruth Schreckenberg, at (618) 332-4704. A copy of the Bid Package will also be posted on the District's website: cusd187.org. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough and meeting will be conducted on April 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. and will commence in the High School's Conference Room located at 800 Range Lane, Cahokia Heights, IL 62206. Sealed Bids are due on or before May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the District's Superintendent's Office, followed by a public bid opening to follow on May 5, 2026, at 10:05 a.m. at the District's Board Room, both of which are located at 1700 Jerome Lane, Cahokia Heights, IL 62206. Re-bid Important Update: The Project Labor Agreement (PLA) requiring union labor has been removed. However, all bids must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including applicable St. Clair County wage rates, as outlined in Section 10 of the Professional Moving Services Agreement.
