BID PROPOSAL CITY OF FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PEARSON DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS: The City of Fairview Heights, Illinois is accepting bids to provide labor, equipment and material necessary to construct the project known as "PEARSON DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS". All bids shall be placed on the forms provided in the bid documents and returned in a sealed envelope and marked "BID PROPOSAL, CITY OF FAIRVIEW PEARSON DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS" with the "NAME, ADDRESS & PHONE NO. OF THE BIDDER" on the front, addressed to the City Clerk of Fairview Heights, City Hall, Front Desk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Any sealed envelope not marked as designated above will not be accepted as a bid. All bids must be received prior to 3:00 p.m., April 9, 2026 and will be opened at that time. Bid documents will be available starting March 16, 2026 at the Fairview Heights City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 at no cost, obtained electronically by contacting the Department of Public Works at 618-489-2020 at no cost, or viewed at the Southern Illinois Builders Association, 1468 Green Mount Road, O'Fallon, IL 62269. A proposal guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount shall accompany each bid. All workers employed in the construction of this project will be paid in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage rates. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure. The bidders' question period will be concluded at close of business April 7, 2026.
