NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (PEID) Notice is hereby given to all residents and property owners of St. Clair Township, Illinois and all users of the St. Clair Township Wastewater Treatment Facility that a Public Hearing at the St. Clair Township Office at 107 Service Street, Swansea IL, on Thursday, March 12th at 4:00pm. The Township plans to construct a new 0.75-MGD activated sludge treatment unit, new aeration and influent pumping equipment, phosphorus removal systems, rehabilitation of tertiary filters, and a new chemical feed and equipment storage building. Once complete, older treatment units will be demolished. This Public Notice is to provide an opportunity for the public to provide comments on the Township's proposed construction. A project summary and Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination document provided by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) is available for review at the St. Clair Township Office. The document contains information including the project costs, location, user rate impacts and potential environment impacts. This Notice is to provide access to the documents and to satisfy Section 365.330 of the Illinois Procedures for Issuing Loans from the Water Pollution Control Loan Program from the Illinois EPA. These documents will be on file at the St. Clair Township Office after the Public Hearing to allow for public comment.
