City of Highland, Illinois Notice of Municipal Letting Water Main Replacement 2025 PW-04-25 The City of Highland, Illinois invites sealed bids for the construction of El-Kay Meadows, Washington St., and Pine St. Water Main Replacements to be received at City Hall, 1115 Broadway, Highland, Illinois until January 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read. Description of Work: Installation of approximately 9,250 lf of 6" PVC Water Main. Work also includes directional boring water mains, valve interconnect, service connections, hydrant, valves, and miscellaneous water main appurtenances. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Give special attention to and comply with project insurance and bonding requirements. The Water Main Replacement 2025, PW-04-25 is a "Public Works Construction" Project as defined in the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130. As such, all bidders shall account for in their bids and will be subject to the general prevailing wage rates for Madison County, Illinois, currently published and as amended from time to time by the Department of Labor.
