Southwestern Illinois College 522 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT For the Fiscal Year Ended 2025 Mission Statement Southwestern Illinois College upholds the dignity and worth of students, employees and community, which empowers learning and the quality of life. Vision Statement To be students’ “first choice” by providing innovative and flexible programs designed to enrich our community and foster economic growth in our region. Southwestern Illinois College offers: - Transfer Programming - Career-education programs - General studies programs, including developmental instruction, adult basic education and general education - Community-education programs (non-credit adult continuing education); - Public service activities of an educational nature; and - Student support services, including general institutional and learning resources services, admissions, counseling, testing, tutoring, placement, and special assistance for disadvantaged students. Southwestern Illinois College is a community institution serving more than 460,000 residents in eight Illinois counties with academic, vocational and career advancement courses and community programs. It serves over 15,000 full-time and part-time student on an annual basis as well as all district residents who participate in its seminars, workshops, special events and other community services.
