A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Whiteside School District 115 for 2025 will be held on December 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Whiteside Middle School, 111 Warrior Way, Belleville, IL. II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $8,482,557. The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $9,809,500. This represents a 15.64% increase over the previous year. III. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases for 2024 were $1,376,538.00. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for 2025 are $1,401,575.00 This represents a 1.8% increase over the previous year. IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $9,859,095.00. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $11.211.075. This represents a 13.71% increase over the previous year.
