City of East St. Louis Office of the City Manager Zoning Committee Public Notice The East St. Louis Zoning Committee will be holding a Public Hearing on the proposed rezoning of property at North 26th Street and Lynch Street in East St. Louis to C1 (Neighborhood Commercial District) and to vacate several abandoned alleys and an unimproved portion of Caseyville Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets. Date of hearing is December 1, 2025, starting promptly at 5:00 PM, at 301 River Park Drive, East St. Louis, IL 62201. This action supports the development of a new, state-of-the-art Metro East Regional Headquarters. This hearing will provide an opportunity for the public to express their views and concerns regarding the proposed adjustments. The facility will house Troop 8, Zone 6, and Statewide 911 telecommunications, reinforcing ISP's commitment to enhancing public safety services in the region.
