City of Venice, Illinois NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR "FY-25" A public hearing is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. on July 28, 2025, at the Tyrone Echols Community Center, 1302 Klein Avenue, Venice, Illinois ("Community Center"), regarding the proposed Appropriation Ordinance for the City of Venice, Illinois, for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2025, and ending April 30, 2026 ("FY-25"). Copies of the Appropriation Ordinance will be available at the Community Center for public review before, during, and after the public hearing. Immediately following the public hearing, a special/regular City Council meeting will be held at the Community Center, beginning at 4:00 p.m. or upon conclusion of the public hearing. At this meeting, the proposed Appropriation Ordinance for FY-25 will be presented to the City Council for discussion, consideration, approval, and passage.
