REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FINANCIAL AUDIT SERVICES Big Sandy Area Community Action Program, Inc., (BSACAP) is accepting proposals for financial audit services for the contract period of Nov. 1, 2024, to Oct. 31, 2025. Firms must be knowledgeable in 2 CFR Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirement, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Firms must be in good standing with the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy. Prior auditing experience of Community Action Agencies or other non-profit organizations is preferred. Proposals are subject to terms and conditions of the request for proposals. Copies of the request for proposals may be obtained via website bsacap.org/rfp Proposals must be mailed or delivered to Wanda Thacker, Executive Director, Big Sandy Area Community Action Program, 230 Court Street, Johnson County Courthouse, Paintsville, KY 41240. The outside of the envelopes must clearly be marked, "FINANCIAL AUDIT PROPOSAL." Emailed submissions will be accepted at: audit@bsacap.org Proposals will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and will be opened at 11 a.m. on or about Monday, December 1, 2025. All proposals must be received by the time designated in the invitation, and none will be considered thereafter. BSACAP cannot assume responsibility for any delay as a result of failure of the mail services to deliver bids on time. BSACAP reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
