City of Haslet Public Notice On November 10, 2025, in a Regular Called Meeting, the Haslet City Council passed the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS, BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT LOT 1-R, BLOCK A OF THE HOLY SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH ADDITION FROM PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL (PI) AND RESIDENTIAL SUBURBAN DENSITY 2 (R2) TO PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL (PI); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; PROVIDING ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PENALTY CLAUSE: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, partnership, corporation, or other entity to develop this property, or any portion thereof, in any manner other than is authorized by this Ordinance, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined an amount not more than $2,000.00; and each day a violation exists shall be deemed a separate offense. These penal provisions shall not prevent an action on behalf of the City of Haslet to enjoin any violation or threatened violation of the terms of this Ordinance, or an action for mandatory injunction to remove any previous violation hereof. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and publication in accordance with and as provided by Texas law.
