City of Haslet Public Notice On November 10, 2025, in a Regular Called Meeting, the Haslet City Council passed the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS, TO PROVIDE FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION (COMMERCIAL) AS A PRIMARY USE LOCATED ON LOT 2, BLOCK A OF THE ALLIANCE CROSSING ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF; PROVIDING FOR NO VESTED INTEREST; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF PENALTY CLAUSE: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, partnership, corporation, or other entity to develop this property, or any portion thereof, in any manner other than is authorized by this Ordinance, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined an amount not more than $2,000.00; and each day a violation exists shall be deemed a separate offense. These penal provisions shall not prevent an action on behalf of the City of Haslet to enjoin any violation or threatened violation of the terms of this Ordinance, or an action for mandatory injunction to remove any previous violation hereof. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and publication in accordance with and as provided by Texas law.
