BID ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, in the County of Stanislaus, State of California, will receive bids for the following work: Highway 99 Water Main Crossings Improvements (I Street, G Street, and Sierra Drive) Plans and Specifications are also available for purchase from the Utilities Engineering Division, 1010 Tenth Street, Suite 4100, Modesto, California, (209) 577-5462, with a deposit of $75.00, plus shipping if requested. Make checks payable to the City of Modesto, Attn: 4th Floor, Bid Requests, P.O. Box 642, Modesto, California 95353. The entire deposit of $75.00 is refundable if plans and specifications are returned in good condition within 15 calendar days after Council action. For shipping requests, a Federal Express or UPS account must be provided, or other arrangements may be requested. Shipping costs are non-refundable. This project is listed under "Bid Opportunities" on the City's website, http://www.modestogov.com/257/Contracting-Bid-Opportunities. THE PAYMENT OF PREVAILING WAGES IS REQUIRED ON THIS PROJECT. Email all questions to Highway_99_Water_Main_Crossings_Improvements_Bid_Questions@docs.e-builder.net by 4:00 p.m., no later than 7 business days prior to the bid opening. The successful bidder must possess a valid Class "A" California State Contractor License at the time of the award of this contract, to complete the Work as described. The City Clerk of the City of Modesto, California, will accept bids electronically through the OpenGov Procurement Portal https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/modestogov until 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in accordance with the Contract Documents for the Highway 99 Water Main Crossings Improvements (I Street, G Street, and Sierra Drive) project. The notarized bidder's bond shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and filed with the City Clerk, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Suite 6600, Modesto, CA 95354, (Mailing Address: P.O. Box 642, Modesto, CA 95353) prior to 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 with the outside of the bid envelope indicating: A. NAME AND ADDRESS OF BIDDER B.
