Notice of Mayoral Emergency Proclamation – Wastewater Lagoon Post Date:11/07/2025 12:47 PM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 7, 2025, City of Orting Mayor Joshua Penner declared an emergency as defined by RCW 39.04.280(3) exists in the City of Orting requiring immediate action to restore lagoon capacity and maintain wastewater service through the upcoming winter. The City Council will consider the proclamation at its next regular meeting on November 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at Orting City Hall located at 104 Bridge St. S. Orting, WA 98360 and on the platform Zoom. The City is utilizing in person and remote attendance for the hearing.
