PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to RCW 43.21.C and WAC 197-11, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 6, 2025, the City of Lacey Department of Community and Economic Development issued a determination of nonsignificance (DNS) relative to the environmental impact of the following described proposal: Proposed amendments to the Lacey Municipal Code to establish regulations for co-living housing. The proposed code would define co-living housing as a residential use, identify where it may be permitted, and outline applicable development standards. This action is intended to expand housing options consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and recent state housing legislation. The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public upon request. Comments must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on November 26, 2025, which is also the appeal deadline for the DNS.
