PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held, and the following proposed Ordinances will be considered for adoption at the Regular Meeting of the Holmes Beach City Commission to be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, Florida at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The public is welcome to attend.
All persons wishing to speak must appear in person. Public access for viewing will also be available at: https://www.holmesbeachfl.org/government/escribe.php.
Ordinance 25-06
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HOLMES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING PART I, CHAPTER 66 WATERWAYS, ARTICLE IV, SEAWALLS. BULKHEADS, DOCKS AND PIERS, BY DELETING EXISTING SECTIONS 66.106 THROUGH 66.113 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS FOR SEAWALLS AND REPLACING WITH NEW ARTICLE V, DOCKING AND MOORING FACITLITES; MAKING RELATED FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE."

"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HOLMES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING PART III, LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, ARTICLE III ("PERMITS, DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS AND PROCEDURES"), DIVISION 4 ("SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS"), SECTIONS 3.12 THROUGH 3.16, TO IMPLEMENT CH. 2025-164, LAWS OF FLORIDA (SB 784) BY ESTABLISHING ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL OF PLATS AND REPLATS, DESIGNATING AN ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND OFFICER, PROVIDING NOTICE AND TIMELINE REQUIREMENTS, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
No stenographic record by a certified court reporter will be made of this meeting. Accordingly, any person who may seek to appeal any decisions involving the matters noticed herein will be responsible for making a verbatim record of the testimony and evidence at this meeting upon which any appeal is to be based.
All interested parties may appear and be heard. Copies of the proposed Ordinances are available at the Office of the City Clerk.
