NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28th, 2025. The board may elect to not open or consider any bids received and submit the matter to the State Treasurer regarding the following: BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED FROM BANKS FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF KEEPING JACKSON COUNTY FUNDS, OR ANY PART THEREOF, AS AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 27-105-305, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, ANNOTATED, FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS, AND AN OPTION TO EXTEND FOR AN ADDITONAL TWO YEARS IF BOTH PARTIES AGREE Financial institutions desiring to be a County depository must meet the requirements of Section 27-105-305, Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. Bid specifications may be obtained from the Finance Department at 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, MS 39567. Contact the Finance Department at 228-769-3032. All bids must be on file with the Clerk of the Board on or prior to the hour and date first mentioned above, must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Bid for keeping Jackson County Funds, to be opened December 1st, 2025." Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the bank submitting said bids, and the County assumes no responsibility for premature opening of same by any County employee. Bids sent through the U.S. Mail are done so at the risk of the bank submitting said bid and should be addressed to the Board of Supervisors in care of the Chancery Clerk's Office, P. O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS 39568-0998.
