PUBLIC MEETING The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold an open- house public meeting to introduce study information, review existing conditions, and gather public input on proposed improvements to approximately two miles of Illinois Route 3 in East St. Louis and Sauget. Date: November 18, 2025 Time: 3-6 p.m. (anytime) Location: East St. Louis Community College Center 601 James R Thompson Blvd., Building B East St. Louis, IL 62201 Proposed improvements include: • Increasing highway capacity and safety • Improving access and traffic distribution to Mississippi River crossings • Completing Illinois Route 3 between Waterloo and Alton • Enhancing access to existing, planned, and potential riverfront development Visit bit.ly/RelocatedIL3 for more information.
