Fare Adjustment Public Hearing Notice The City of Arlington is considering a fare adjustment for the Handitran and On-Demand public rideshare services. Handitran fares are proposed to adjust from the current $2 per person per trip to $3 per person per trip. On-Demand fares are proposed to adjust from the current $3 to $5 per person per trip to $3 to $8 per person per trip, based on distance travelled. The exact fare will be quoted to the rider before booking a trip. On-Demand trips to and from CentrePort Station will remain at the $3 flat fare rate. The monthly Handitran pass, and the weekly and monthly On-Demand passes are proposed to be replaced with ride credit bundles that will be available for purchase at a discount.
