DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The University of Idaho is seeking proposals for the evaluation, design and construction to rehabilitate the existing lagoon systems at the Idaho Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment (CAFE). Work is primarily anticipated to provide clay lining and other potential improvements to meet Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) specifications and requirements.
ABOUT CAFE:
Idaho CAFE will be the largest and most advanced research center in the country that focuses on the dairy and supporting industries. The Research Dairy is located on approximately 640 acres in Minidoka County near Rupert, Idaho.
PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: A current, valid Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required for the construction phase services of this project.
ESTIMATED COST: $350,000 for Design & Direct Construction Costs.
CONTRACT TIME: 60 days dependent on acceptable weather conditions.
