CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA WYNWOOD BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the Wynwood Business Improvement District ("BID"), of the City of Miami, Florida on November 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at The Doris Den, 114 NW 25th Street, Miami, Florida. The BID's Public Benefits Trust Fund Committee will be considering the following resolution: A RESOLUTION OF THE WYNWOOD BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT'S ("BID") PUBLIC BENEFITS TRUST FUND COMMITTEE ("TRUST"), WITH ATTACHMENT(S), BY A FOUR-FIFTHS (4/5) AFFIRMATIVE VOTE, RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S FINDING AND DECLARATION, AS AGENCY HEAD, THAT INCREASED RESIDENTIAL POPULATION AND VISITOR FOOT TRAFFIC IN WYNWOOD WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT SIDEWALK, CROSSWALK AND/OR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS HAS CAUSED A VALID PUBLIC EMERGENCY TO PEDESTRIAN MOBILITY AND SAFETY; THEREFORE, IT IS MOST ADVANTAGEOUS FOR THE TRUST TO WAIVE THE COMPETITIVE SEALED BIDDING PROCEDURES AND QUALIFICATIONS PROCESS PURSUANT TO F.S. 287.055, 3(A)1 AND ENGAGE ARQUITECTONICA GEO TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND PRIME CONSULTANT ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SIDEWALK AND STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS TO NW 2ND AVENUE AND N. MIAMI AVENUE IN THE AMOUNT OF $900,000; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE BID DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ARQUITECTONICA GEO FOR SAID PURPOSE. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed acquisitions.
