NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5 is requesting sealed bids for pupil bus transportation service. The contract period will start July 1, 2026 and will continue for the 2026/2027, 2027/2028, and 2028/2029 school years with options to continue the contract for the 2029/2030 and 2030/2031 school years. Bid specifications may be obtained at the Unit Office of the Superintendent of Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5, 302 Bellefontaine Drive, Waterloo, IL 62298, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), or on the District website, www.wcusd5.net. All Contractor's submitting bids must attend a Pre-Bid Conference set for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5, Unit Office of the Superintendent located at 302 Bellefontaine Drive, Waterloo, IL 62298. Sealed bids must be submitted on the bid form provided and must be received in the Unit Office of the Superintendent of Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5 by Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Please mark the envelope "Transportation Bid".
