Request for Qualifications Engineering Services for Capital Improvements Kahlotus School District #056 Proposal Due Date: November 21, 2025, 5:00 p.m. Kahlotus School District #056 is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified professional firms to provide engineering services in support of capital improvements. These may include, but are not limited to, modernization of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; roof replacement; and safety and security upgrades at the K-12 school located at 100 W. Martin Street, Kahlotus, WA 99335. The District's Owner's Representative will be managing the RFQ process and receiving submissions on behalf of the Superintendent. Services may include, but are not limited to: Construction special inspections and testing Hazardous materials testing and consulting Firms may submit qualifications for one or both service areas. Joint submissions or partnerships are welcome. Eligibility All qualified individuals and firms, including minority- and women-owned businesses, who are lawfully engaged in the practice of engineering and/or consulting services under Chapter 18 RCW are encouraged to apply. The District may call upon selected firms throughout the capital program as needed. Submissions will be evaluated based on: Relevant experience with public school projects Qualifications of key personnel Availability and capacity to begin work Responsiveness to the RFQ requirements The District reserves the right to cancel or reissue this RFQ, in whole or in part, prior to execution of any contract.
