PUBLIC NOTICE EMPIRE UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT will distribute surplus or undistributed obsolete instructional materials which are usable for educational purposes. Please contact the District Office for more information. All items will be distributed on a "first come, first served" basis in "as is" condition, to any child or adult for the purpose of increasing general literacy. This distribution is in accordance with Board Policy 3270, (dated January 14, 2010) which states, in part, that the Assistant Superintendent of the EMPIRE UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT, may declare instructional materials to be surplus and/or obsolete, and may dispose of same, pursuant to California Education Code Section 60510.
